From challenge to solution

Project Goal

A web presence carrying two jobs at once: convincing clients of the firm's capability and reaching applicants. In a trade short of people, both count.

Our Solution

Next.js and Payload CMS with a service overview, the machine fleet, a page on their own Drain Control method, a technical article and four job pages. The firm maintains the content itself.

Drainage Uhling specialises in drainage work in civil engineering. The site runs on Next.js and Payload CMS because it has to do more than act as a business card: it carries services, the machine fleet, a technical article and the open positions.

The machine fleet is on the front page on purpose. In civil engineering it partly decides whether a firm can take on a job at all — for a client that is one of the first questions, not one of the last.

The second focus is recruitment. Four dedicated job pages — excavator operator, pipeline builder, civil engineering worker and speculative application — turn the website into a hiring channel as well. In a trade short of people, that often pays off faster than one more enquiry.

Alongside that: a page on their own Drain Control method and a questions section that settles the points which otherwise eat up time in the first conversation.
