Accessibility

This statement applies to the website conradiusdesign.com, operated by Con Radius Design, DBA of AHLER LLC. It covers all pages at this address in German and English.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. The information in this statement is based on a self-assessment. No external audit has been carried out.

Based on that self-assessment the website is partially conformant. Some requirements are not yet fully implemented. The issues we are aware of are listed under Known Limitations.

On 28 July 2026 we checked every page of the website, first in the source and then in the browser at 1440 and at 375 pixels wide. The following is verifiably in place:

• The language of every page is declared in the source, so screen readers use the right pronunciation.
• Every page has exactly one main heading and a continuous heading structure.
• Main content, navigation and footer are marked up as distinct page regions.
• A skip link leads straight to the main content. It is the first target of the tab key and becomes visible as soon as it has focus, in both language versions.
• All images carry an alt attribute.
• Zoom is not disabled on any page. Text can be enlarged.
• Expandable elements such as navigation and question lists report their state to screen readers.
• Visible form fields are associated with a label.
• No page scrolls horizontally. Wide tables can be scrolled sideways within their own area.

We are aware of the following issues and have not yet fixed them:

• Some labels are rendered at 8.8 pixels, for example section names in overviews. That is too small for many people. We are increasing those sizes.
• In long headings the browser hyphenates single words mid-word. That is a readability issue we are currently fixing.
• We have not yet systematically tested color contrast and full keyboard operation against the WCAG criteria.
• The open menu on phones is semi-transparent, which makes the upper entries hard to read.
• Some embedded third-party content is outside our control. Where it creates barriers we look for alternatives.

This list is not exhaustive. If you notice another barrier, please tell us.
