Webflow

A Webflow agency that also says when Webflow does not fit

We maintain Webflow sites, extend them, and rebuild them when the tool reaches its limit. Honest up front about what is worth doing.

Con Radius Design works with Webflow: we maintain existing Webflow sites, extend them, and rebuild them when Webflow reaches its limit. We say up front what Webflow does well and where a system of your own carries more. We build what fits your project, not what we have on the shelf.

Decision help

When Webflow fits, and when it does not

CriteriaFitsDoes not fit
A manageable company site that mainly has to look good and go live quickly.
The team wants to edit text and images itself, without a developer.
Design leads, the technology behind it is secondary.
A lot of content in several languages, nested and cross-referenced.
Logic of your own: a calculator, a configurator, a login area, a link to another system.
Full control over loading behavior, schema and the technical SEO foundation.
What you get

What we do with Webflow

Visibility on a Webflow site
A move, when Webflow gets too tight
01

Maintenance and further development

Your site runs on Webflow and needs upkeep, new sections, new CMS templates and a clean structure for search. That needs no rebuild.

02

Visibility on a Webflow site

Titles, structure, schema, internal linking and a quotable answer per page work in Webflow just as they do anywhere else. How we approach that is on SEO consulting and GEO agency.

03

A move, when Webflow gets too tight

Then we rebuild on Next.js and Payload CMS and carry over content, addresses and redirects so no visibility is lost. What that looks like is on web design.

Limits

Where Webflow typically ends

This is not a verdict on the tool. Webflow takes a lot of work off your hands, and for a clear company site it is a sound choice. It gets tight in three places, and they almost always arrive in this order.

01

First the content structure

As soon as content in several languages is cross-referenced repeatedly, upkeep costs more than it returns.

02

Then logic of your own

A calculator, a login area or a link to an inventory system ends in add-on services and embedded code that nobody keeps track of. For those cases there is app and web app development.

03

Last, control over the technology

Loading behavior, rendering and the output of structured data can be steered in Webflow only as far as the tool allows. With a build of your own you steer it yourself.

How we approach visibility is on SEO consulting and GEO agency. What a move produces is on web design. If it is logic of your own rather than pages, app and web app development is the place to start.

Frequently asked questions about Webflow

Yes, when Webflow fits the project. We will tell you beforehand if we consider a system of your own the better foundation. We would rather build a site that still carries in two years than a quick start that has to be rebuilt.

Because with Next.js and Payload CMS we control structure, loading behavior and structured data, and because content in several languages can be modeled cleanly there. Those are exactly the points where visibility comes from. For a manageable company site without logic of its own, Webflow is still a reasonable choice.

Not if the move is done properly. Three things decide it: every old address gets a redirect with exactly one hop, the content comes across in full, and titles, structure and structured data stay at least as good. We verify that address by address after the move.

For a manageable company site around four weeks, the same as a new website. More content or several languages take longer. We name the timeframe after the intake, not before.

Yes. We look at how it is built first and tell you what makes sense to carry on and what is better rebuilt. That assessment costs nothing.

Send us the address of your Webflow site. We will tell you what is worth doing on it and where Webflow is holding you back.
