Local SEO for Tradespeople: What Really Matters
Local SEO is more than a Google profile. We explain how service pages, internal linking, and tracking need to work together for your business to become visible in local searches.

When tradespeople hear "Local SEO", most think of their Google profile. That's an important building block, but alone it's not enough.
Local SEO only works when three things align: 1) Your Google profile matches your website -- same services, same signals. 2) Each main service has its own page that matches the search intent. 3) Pages are cleanly internally linked (hub/spoke structure).
A common mistake: many tradespeople have a single "Services" page that lists everything. Google can't work well with that because it's unclear which page is relevant for which search query.
Better: A separate page per main service (e.g. /heating-installation, /bathroom-renovation, /emergency-service) with a clear H1, matching content, and a CTA. These pages link to each other and back to the services overview.
The third building block is tracking. Without measurement, you don't know which page generates inquiries and which doesn't. We set up events for calls, forms, and CTA clicks -- so you can make data-based decisions about where to invest next.
